Jay Rebsamen is the lead high school pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA. Jay graduated from Liberty University in 1995, with a degree in Church Ministries and a double minor in Pastoral and Youth Ministries.
Jay thoroughly enjoys a good cup of coffee as well as chasing a white ball on the golf course.
Regardless of the setting, whether in the pulpit, on stage at a summer camp, in a large arena, or in a high school, Jay’s message is simple: helping students and young adults discover the importance of a Christ-centered lifestyle.
Romans 12:2 says “…but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is….” The word “transformed” from the Greek means to “undergo a complete change.” Jay is very passionate about seeing people let go of their past and experience true forgiveness in their lives. In turn, this will give them a passionate purpose to serve the Lord wholeheartedly.
Jay and his beautiful bride, Melanie, reside in Lynchburg, VA along with their son, Caleb and daughter, Addison.
